Some Updates ....

Friday the children went with their Aunt Tina to Cobblestone Water Park. Everyone was having fun until Katina went into a panic mode when she couldn't find Chase (Chase is very sneaky!). She found him at the first aid place. Chase had went down the slide and some how he ripped his big toe nail off. The First Aid guy had to pull his toe nail off the rest of the way. GROSS!!! Sunday, Ronnie took the girls to the horse show @ Amber Hill and Chase and I stayed home. Ronnie had my truck and he left me his car. Well, his car likes to cut off all the time especially when it is hot outside. So, Michelle came out yesterday and took Chase and I to the doctor's office. They put Chase on an antibiotic and some pain medicine. He has to soak his foot 15 minutes 1 time a day. My Poor man!!!

We had Kami's All-Star tournament this past weekend. They played Thursday and Saturday. They lost both games which means they are out of the tournament. I am very proud of the girls. They tried their best!! :)

Sunday was Kami's first horse show ever!! From what I was told she did good! She came in 3rd place out of 4 people. Her cousin Jessie lead her around. Kami said that she enjoyed her self. My sister took some pictures. I hope I will get them soon from her. Taylor had her classes. I really want to say that she came in 5th out of 9 people I think. They had a Father's Day Lead line class as well. Taylor had to lead her Dad around on Ace. Taylor told me that she really enjoyed being able to tell her Dad what to do! LOL! Ronnie and Taylor came in 3rd place. Jessie and Chip came in 5th place. Ronnie also got a ribbon for the best Dad to listen to their daughter. They sounded like they all really had fun! I am sorry that I missed it.

Well this weekend we have one more All-Star Softball Tournament in Buckingham for Taylor. I will let everyone know how that goes!!

All-Stars

We received the call Saturday that Taylor made All-Star's. She was so excited! She started dancing around. It was cute! Taylor practices on Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday. Her All-Star's tournament starts Thursday 6/25 - Sunday 6/28 depending on how far they make it in Buckingham. It is a double elimination tournament. She had her first practice this past Monday. Her coach whipped those girls butts! If they made bad throws or bad plays, she made them drop down and give her 5 push ups. I love Taylor's All-Star's coach. She is so good with all the girls!

Kami made All-Star's as well. Kami isn't as excited as Taylor. Kami thinks that she will not be able to stay with her Aunt Tina on Friday and go to Cobblestone Water Park. Her tournament starts Thursday 6/18 - Sunday 6/21 in Goochland. It is a double elimination tournament as well. I don't think her team will be playing a game on Friday. That way she will still be able to go with her Aunt Tina and cousins to Cobblestone.

Chase's baseball season is over. We had our ups and downs with Chase this year with baseball, but we made it through!! If he plays next year, hopefully it will all be better. He did say that he wants to pitch some next year if he plays. Chase said that he is going to route his sister's on in All-Star's!! :)

Wednesday

Well today is the last game of the season for Taylor and Chase. Taylor has a game tonight against the other Cumberland team. The game on Monday, Taylor made a few good plays. She played catcher again and she really likes it. Casey (the pitcher) said that she loves it when Taylor catches because Taylor lets her know how many balls and strikes with her fingers. Casey said that Taylor talks to her and gives her an awesome target. I am a proud mom!! :) We should find out tonight if Taylor made All-Stars or not. We will see. Keep your fingers crossed! Taylor really wants to go!!

Chase had baseball practice last night. His coach was letting all the boys practice pitching last night. Chase really enjoyed it! Chase's coach came up to me and said, Too bad you are not going to be at the game tomorrow night (I will be @ Taylor's game). I said why? He said because I am going to pitch your son! He was amazed with his pitching technique. We haven't told Chase because we don't want to get him all nervous about it or if by chance his coach doesn't pitch him. I guess we will see. :) At least this will give him the practice for next year!!

Kami and Taylor teams have pictures before the game tonight. Kami's last regular game is Friday. She has a double header home vs. Amelia.

I will let ya'll know if Chase pitches tonight and I will let you know if Taylor makes All-Stars tomorrow! :)

Weekend Update ...

Saturday morning started off real nicely. Ronnie left in the morning around 7:45 to head to Fluvanna for Kami's double header game. Taylor, Chase and I left the house around 8:45 and headed to Buckingham for Taylor's game. Ronnie said that Kami's team lost both games, but they did good considering the fact that they really haven't had any practice. :) Taylor's team played Powhatan. Cumberland won the game 7-0. It was a really good game. Powhatan didn't get past 2nd base! Taylor played 3rd base and loved it. We left Taylor's game and headed to Chase's game @ Charlotte County Court house. We met Chase's team @ the Shell station @ 12:15 pm to head to Charlotte. It took us about an hour and 1/2 to get there. Cumberland had the game 4 to 1 until the last inning. Charlotte beat us 5 to 4. It was a really good game!

Saturday late evening, Katina, Chip, my sister Theresa, and her husband Mikey rode their Harley's out to my house. We went to Vito's and ate dinner. Taylor rode on the bike with her Uncle Chip to Vito's and back. She looks like a natural. I swear, Taylor is so much like her Aunt Tina it is crazy!! :) We got back to my house and Chip rode Chase and Mikey rode Kami around the "block" on the bikes. They had fun. When Mikey and Kami pulled in the driveway Kami had a perm-a-grin on her face! Thank you Uncle Chip and Uncle Mikey!! Ya'll made your nieces and nephew's day! :) It was nice seeing my sisters! :) Can't wait for my niece's birthday party on 8/1/09!! :)

Sunday was a lazy day at the house! I finished up my laundry. Taylor and Ronnie slept for awhile on the couch. When the sun started going down, Ronnie played ball with Taylor and Chase and I watched Kami ride her bike around the house. Kami was so proud of herself because she can stand up and peddle! :)

Also, please pray for my grandma and her friend's family. My grandma's friend Betty passed away Saturday evening. My grandma was really close to her. They spoke to each other every night. I know my grandma is going to miss her dearly! I love you grandma!! :)
