Labor Day Weekend Plans

We are going to have a BUSY labor day weekend! Saturday, if the weather is nice and hot enough we are going to Holiday Lake with Michelle, Aaron, and their boys. We didn't make it last weekend because of two reasons the first one is because when we woke up it looked like it was going to rain and then when it start getting nice, Michelle had to take Aaron to the ER because of he couldn't move his neck or his arm at all. I ended up watching her boys for the whole day while they were at the hospital. But anyway .... Then on Sunday we are going to my mom's for a cookout. I haven't seen my mom since my surgery, when she brought my children back to me and she cleaned my kitchen from head to toe (that was nice!!). I am sure that we will be eating some yummy food and playing some corn hole and darts. We always enjoy ourselves when we go there. Then Monday, we are going over to The Minter's for another cookout. We are going to have so much fun! I can't wait!! We are really excited!!

TGIF ...

Yea, it is Friday!! Once it hits 4:00, the weekend begins!! I am really hoping that it doesn't rain this weekend. We have a lot of plans!! Saturday morning, we are going to Holiday Lake with Michelle, Aaron, and their boys. Then after we get back from there we need to go car shopping!! I really hope we find a vehicle that both Ronnie and I agree on. Then we are heading over to Kevin and Heather's for a cookout around 6pm. I think Sunday we are going to do nothing but stay home and work around our house. I have been wanting to clean every ones closets out and get rid of junk. I think I will do that on Sunday! Sure would love some help!! (hint hint Chell. LOL!). If we don't get rained out this weekend, I am sure we will have lots of pictures from the lake and at Heather's. I know if I don't take pictures @ Heather's she will!! LOL!!

Yorktown ....

This past weekend we went to Yorktown with our friends Angie and Mike. We had a really nice time. Saturday we were rained out because of Hurricane Bill. But we still made the best of it. We let the children swim until 10pm. Then Sunday morning we woke up early and went to Yorktown where they have a little beach and some boardwalk shops. It was really nice. Everyone had a real nice time. We are hoping we can make it back there before the weather turns cold for the fall. The children had A LOT of fun when Ronnie got in the water and swam with them. Tuesday ...

I go to the doctor today to see how my foot is doing. I am hoping that he says, I can walk on my foot and that I can drive. I sure do miss doing those things!! I get to go back to work tomorrow. Tomorrow, Thursday, and Friday are half days. On Monday I start going back full time. :) I am excited! I miss going to work. We are really missing that money!! LOL!

Today is the kids second day of school. They get to go to Heather's after school today since my doctors appointment is late in the afternoon. They aren't too excited about going back to school so early. We will make up for the lack of summer this year when next summer comes. We are planning a vacation for Myrtle Beach next year. When I go back to work we are going to start a Myrtle Beach savings fund. I would like to take a few long weekends next summer and then a full week. We will see if all this happens. This is my goal for the family! :)

Wednesday, soccer practice starts for the children. Taylor was going to do Fall Softball, but we didn't have the money for it when it was due. So she has decided that she is going to play soccer. Taylor and Chase will be on the same team. Kami will be on a different team, but her Daddy is going to be her coach. She is excited about that!! This year the Soccer Commissioner has asked me take pictures of the games. I have started a blog for the Soccer league too. I am on a roll this year with Ronnie! :) We both are excited though. We really like being involved with the children's school and activities.

Well I will update everyone with what the doctor says and how the first day of practice goes for the children.

Today my children started school. They were having mixed feelings about going back to school. I think when they come home they will tell me about how much fun they had. They will get home around 3:30.

Yesterday we arrived back home from West Virginia. I was really glad to see my hubby! I missed him so much! The kids missed him too!

West Virginia

My children are leaving for West Virginia to see my Nanny on Tuesday the 4th. My sister's are going to take them since we are financially unable right now to take them on vacation due to me not working right now because of my surgery. Well, they were suppose to just take the children, but my sister's worked together and are not taking no for an answer ... I am going with them. I really do have the best sister's in the world. They both are extremely good to my family and me. I love them so much! Ronnie can't go with us because he can't get off of work. So, Katina bribed him by setting up a golf time for Chip and him. I really don't want to leave my husband that long! But I really think this is the only time I will be able to go see my Nanny. I will not be able to do much, but that is okay, I can sit with my Nanny on her front porch and read a book. I love spending time with her no matter what we are doing. Oh yeah, I get to see my Dad too.

Thanks Katina and Theresa! I love you both so much! You guys are the best sister's anyone could ask for! :)

Bear Creek Lake

We had a really nice day today. We took the children to Bear Creek Lake so the kids could swim and have fun. They had a good time. See the pictures below.
